Founder - Sarabjit

Sarabjit is a cornerstone of the Surrey community, known for her unwavering commitment to supporting women and families. Through her extensive work with community-based organizations, she has provided vital assistance to victims of domestic and gender-based violence, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges faced within the community. With a strong academic foundation in psychology, Sarabjit brings both compassion and insight to her work. In her spare time, she enjoys music, cooking, and reading, and is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Founder - TJ

As a co-founder, TJ is deeply committed to advancing gender equality where everyone feels valued, empowered, and heard. Dedicated to empowering communities and driving sustainable social impact, TJ combines compassion with action to create meaningful change. Motivated by a deep passion for humanity and a vision for positive transformation, TJ co-founded Wave of Change to inspire collective action, uplift voices, and bring hope to those who need it most. In his down time Tj enjoys reading and travelling.

Board Memeber - Preeti Mathew

Preeti switched her career eight years ago, to realize her passion to work with survivors of gender based violence. Her deep commitment to her work comes from a strongly held belief that everyone, irrespective of their gender, has the right to their dignity and deserves to be treated with respect. Preeti holds degrees in Sociology and Journalism. She calls herself an ardent life long learner. She loves to garden and you might find her talking to her indoor and outdoor plants.

Social Media Manager

Paveet is the Social Media Manager for Wave of Change, where she channels her creativity and passion into designing impactful posts that raise awareness about pressing social issues. She is deeply committed to shedding light on gender-based violence, a topic that is too often overlooked or silenced. Through her work, Paveet aims to spark meaningful conversations, empower survivors, and inspire collective action toward building a safer and more equitable community. In her free time, she enjoys writing and playing the guitar, finding creativity and comfort in both.
